We are pleased to announce that on Sunday, April 28th, the Catholic Daughters of the Americas have instituted a new Court at St. Andrew the Apostle parish! The installation Mass for Our Lady Mystical Rose Court #2804 was celebrated by Father Teilo and was attended by our new Court members, as well as many members from sister Courts throughout Arizona.
Formed in 1903 the Catholic Daughters of the Americas (CDA) is one of the oldest and largest organizations of Catholic women in the Americas. We are a national organization, with 63,000 dues-paying members in 1,150 Courts (local chapters) in 45 states across the country and in Puerto Rico, Mexico, Guam and the Virgin Islands.
The ladies of our parish have been desiring another way to live out their Catholic Faith and support the members of our parish. The institution of our Court will provide an organization whereby these ladies can share their faith and spirituality through acts of service and charity, supporting our parish under the guidance of our chaplain, Father Nicholas.
If you are a lady aged 18 or older and would like to learn more about our new Court, please contact Josie Charnock at 215-272-6280.
